Family-focused introduction to the TAND consensus recommendations
The TAND Consortium are excited to present a 2-page family-focused introduction to the published international consensus recommendations for the identification and treatment of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex-Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders (TAND)!
This document was prepared by our family representatives Katie Smith and Jan-Paul Wagenaar, along with the TAND consortium. In it, you will find a summary of the 10 core principles guiding identification and treatment for all TAND, as well as the consensus recommendations for each of the eight TAND clusters. You will also find links to the full published recommendations paper, a short family-focused movie about the recommendations prepared by Anna Jansen and Petrus de Vries, and links to the TAND toolkit and the TAND consortium website.
You are encouraged to share these widely among your family and clinical networks to promote standards of TAND care for those living with TSC.
In this short video aimed at families, Anna Jansen and Petrus de Vries talk through the consensus recommendations presented in the 2-page summary document.
